I went online the year mobile internet arrived in Pakistan. I closed my shop the year most people thought ecommerce was a gimmick. The biggest opportunities are always the ones that don't look like opportunities yet.
Quality is not a price point. It is a standard.
Every piece that leaves Zee.sy is photographed, packed, and presented as if it were a precious heirloom. The price point is accessible. The experience is not.
Trust is the only real product.
Customers buying jewellery online cannot touch it, try it, or verify it. What they can do is trust the brand on the other side. Every decision we make is a decision about trust.
A small team can outcompete an empire.
Size is not the same as strength. Our team is twenty-nine, but our standards are not small. Every person at Zee.sy knows what the brand stands for — and every person is trusted to protect it.
The founder must be visible.
In an industry full of anonymous sellers, the founder's face is a commitment. I don't hide behind Zee.sy. I stand in front of it.
